Today (Oct. 21) is “Imagine a Day Without Water.” It reminds us that water is essential, invaluable, and in need of investment. The Barton Springs/Edwards Aquifer Conservation District is tasked with protecting, recharging, and preventing waste of groundwater and preserving all aquifers in the District. We serve the groundwater community by monitoring groundwater levels and water quality, managing the shared groundwater resource, coordinating water conservation efforts during drought, and researching aquifer dynamics.
