Drought Status
The District is currently in Stage III Critical Drought. Our two drought determinants are Barton Springs flow and Lovelady monitor well groundwater levels. Only one of these sites needs fall below a threshold for a District drought declaration to be made. To exit out of a drought stage, both determinants must exit their respective stage. This page displays the District’s drought chart along with data on Barton Springs flow and Lovelady groundwater levels.
